Hi Luv:
Glad to hear from you and that you are safe and happy. Sounds relaxing and satisfying. What happened to wanting to be in Honduras to dive? All is good!
Talk to you soon,
Love and hugs,
Mom

Hey Mik:
It's Tues. and I have the day off from work. I am painting the living room a beautiful yellow, similar to Petty St. Very hot and humid even with all the rain we have had in the last few days.
What are you cooking in this small hotel? Are they adventurous and allow you to cook anything you want? or is it mostly Spanish or Mexican dishes?
Love you
Mom

Mikkel...
You'll be very happy with me. I've started reading the Tao Te Ching book. I'm on chapter 8. I read a couple chapters every night. It's very interesting, and challenging to think differently. Maybe when I'm done we can discuss the book a bit.

I'm glad that you're in a place that you're happy. Hopefully you will start traveling around again though. You never know what else is out there for you.

I was in an accident but I'm okay. I was rear-ended. The car is okay, a little dented. My headaches are starting to go away thankfully (it's been almost 5 days since the accident). If you want to read more about it check out the blog page.

Anyway, I have a ton of work to do. I'll talk to you later. Take care.
*big hug*

Hi Mikkel
Glad to hear that you are "absorbing" life...I was reminded again that americans and Canadians work too much, and we forget to take time and appreciate life and what it has to offer.

We are going through a personal transition in our lives. At least I know I am, I still worry that Garrett is still caught up in needing to impress people, and not wanting to be seen as "trailer trash". Anyhow, we are giving up our house. I have been packing up things, giving lots away. Too much crap we have collected. Got too "emotionally attached" to stuff. Gave away our kitties.

Garrett is in the midst of interviews with Microsoft. They seem to be going very well. They are talking about bringing him down to Seattle, so that is very good news. It means if it goes well we will move to Seattle, and he will be a permanent employee, not contract.
Hopefully this will all be sorted out by the end of August, so I will keep you up to date.

hugs Mikkel, I think of you ALL the time...I am in awe of the places and the things you are doing...good on you!

luv
Brandie (Téa says "polkadots!" to ya)
